KILLED
Pte Harry John Owen aged 31, Oxford and Bucks L.I, only son of Mrs Owen, Dossett's Orchard, Temple-Road, Cowley, was killed in action on May 15, in Italy . He joined up on March 23, 1916 . He went to St Frideswide's school, and previous to joining up was a carrier. He served in France for 1 ½ years, being sent to Italy last November. He was a keen footballer, and was a member of St fridewide's football club.
